Low sprinkler pressure

Question
I have 3 zones in my backyard --- one of the zones only works when I do the manual override at the valve, the sprinklers (6 in the zone) come on with full power and provide great coverage.  However, I can't duplicate that pressure with the connection from the electrical control unit -- I get only about 1/2 the pressure.

I replaced the solenoid, the control unit in the garage is brand new, and we've replaced the electrical wiring to the units in the backyard.  Please provide us your opinion and thoughts on what else we can attempt.  Thank you.

Answer
For some reason the valve is not opening all the way when operated electrically.  If you can use a multimeter, check to see if the output from the controller for that station is 24 volts, both at the controller and at the valve.  If the voltage is OK, try dissassembling the valve and cleaning out all of the internal componenets.  Pay special attention to the little ports (holes) in the body of the valve, making sure they are not plugged.  Since the valve has good flow when you operate it manually, I dont think you need to adjust the flow. but you can try it by opening the flow control all the way, then closing it all the way counting the number of turns.  Then open it back halfway.  If none of this works, try replacing the valve.
