landscape irrigation

Question
I have a spring under the house.  450K gal/yr min.  How to I use this water (10' below ground level) to irrigate my lawns and gardens?  I can do the work, I just don't know any formulas or how to gage a pump or pipes to sprinklers.  Thanks for any help.

Answer
You would need a cistern or well of some type to hold the water so that it can be pumped out.  Maybe a large concrete or plastic pipe would do the trick.  But be careful that you don't create another problem by diverting the spring.  You may want to have someone with a little local experience give you their feedback.
