Automatic Sprinklers restarting

Question
We have a Rain Bird RC-7A. When we start it up, it works fine. It goes through all the cycles, then stops. After it has finished about 10 mins later it starts back up again. You have to go to the control box, turn it back around to off, then flip the switch to off. Which makes the automatic part not so automatic! Is there something I can do to fix this?
Thanks!

Answer
Check the start time pins on the wheel and make sure they are set correctly. If I remember correctly, all pins should be out except for one, which is the start time. If all pins were pushed in it would function this way.
If this doesn't fix it you can open the faceplate and look at the switch. It really is a simple controller and usually can be fixed if you a bit of mechanical knowledge. Simply turn the "hour wheel" and watch what switch it is touching. When a pushed in pin on the hour wheel goes by that switch it activate the cycle. You may be able the readjust the switch.
