identify old Hardie

Question

HARDIE.JPG

Can you please help me identify this old (25+ years I think) Hardie 1 inch
valve?  Here is a photo:

I need to buy the diaphragm, or the whole upper unit or whole valve,
although I don't believe it is made anymore.  It is stamped HARDIE, not
Richdel or any other name.

thanks,

Jack

Answer
It sure looks like an old Hardie 100 series.  Hardie is now Irritrol, but you can sometimes get parts for the old valves if you look hard enough.  Try an irrigation supplier who sells to contractors, such as John Deere Landscapes or Ewing Irrigation.  However, my recommendation is to replace the valve with a new one.
