QuestionI have a Hardie HR - 6100. I water 3 times a week (Saturday, Tuesday, and Thursday). The other days are turned off. I have noticed that my sprinklers go on on a Monday. I have reprogrammed the days and times twice and even changed the battery. Please help!
AnswerHey Fred, this controller has 2 programs A and C. If you have program A set for your desired times, then I would check program C to see if maybe something is set in this program that would make it run on Monday. If nothing is set in this program, and it still runs on Monday, it could be that the microprossesor is going bad. Your controller has not been made for at least 12 years. I would suggest, if you have to replace it, to replace it with an Irritrol "Rain Dial" controller. This controller is the modern day version of the controller you now have.
