growing tomatoes in greenhouse?

Question
Hi Mike,
Was wondering if you can tell me if it is possible to grow tomatoes in my greenhouse over the winter? It does not get below 50 degrees in the winter, but does get up to 80+ sometimes on sunny days. I'd sure love tomatoes in the winter. IF so, could you suggest where to get seeds for that purpose? Thanks for any help.
Mary

Answer
Mary, you can absolutely grow tomatoes in a greenhouse over the winter. Just make sure the greenhouse has proper ventilation. You also want to use a fertile organic soil as your potting medium.

You can purchase seeds through any seed company. The four I normally purchase from are Park Seed, Burpee's, Harris, and Johnny's Seeds. I have attached links to their websites for your convenience.

Good luck, and have a wonderful holiday.

Regards,

Mike
