Question
I have some beautiful tomatoes growing but it seems they are all splitting on the top. Would you know why?

Dear Norman,
Usually when tomatoes split, there is a water problem or a heat problem causing the skin to stop growing before the flesh of the fruit is fully developed. It happens more frequently in the hot dry part of summer. My suggestion would be to water a bit extra in the evening.
