Question
This is my first time growing cantelope and watermelon. I started them from seed and I am not sure if what is growing is a weed or an plant. There are small running plants with smal green leaves and very small orangy/pink flowers on them. Is this cantelope?

It would be easier to answer if you could send me a picture, but it sounds like you may just be seeing weeds. When did you plant them? Both melons have fairly large leaves and flowers. Cantaloupes have scalloped-edged leaves, while watermelons have deeply lobed ones. Flowers are yellow. They are vines though.
