centrepiece arrangement

Question
Hi,
this thing is a godsend! I'm having a wedding reception at home, and am looking at some centrepieces that involve a glass bowl and what looks like tortured willow twisted around the bowl. Do you have any idea how i would start that or what i should be using to create the effect?
Thanks for your time

Answer
Hi there, It really depends on the size of bowl. If its quite a large bowl then you can do a one sided arrangement, which might not be what your looking for. This sort of arrangement needs to be against a wall, free standing as such.

On the other hand you can just make a small round arrangement. again it depends on the size of bowl. For a round arrangement you follow the shape as a football, all round, start by using greenery, eucalyptus is good as it gives of a lovely smell and it is easy to use. Also use light weight flowers such as roses, freesia, carnations, lizianthus, light headed flowers as you dont want the arrangement to fall apart.

Is there any chance that you can send me a photo of the bowl so i can get a better idea of what it is like, as you can imagine it is difficult to try and picture something without seeing it.

Thanks Dawn
