Please can you tell me the best way to get peony blooms to open quickly.

Hi Sarah - If the buds are coloured up and about the size of a squash ball then you can bring them into the heat which will speed up their opening - make sure that they are in water and if they look at all sad (droopy, dry) float them in a bath tub of water so that the petals can absorb water.  If the buds are really small then you will have to wait a bit.  You could try tenting them with clear plastic - but watch out for  mould.
