High Nitrogen Lawn Fertilizer

Question
A few years ago I bought a yard fertilizer made by a company named Parker's.  The N content of this product was a straight 60 N (no P or K).  It had no coating on the product so you have to be very careful when you applied it. However, it made my yard exceptionally green and it worked great.  I have not been able to find it anymore, nor can I find a website (or phone #) for Parker's so I can ask where I can find it again.  Can you help me??

Answer
The Parker's brand name belongs to a fertilizer company named Chemsico in St Louis, Missouri.  Their t/n is (314) 683-2734.  The product I see that is currently sold with anything resembling your specs is Parker's Super Soilife Lawn & Garden Fertilizer.  Its analysis is 15-5-10; however, you could multiply that x 4 and you would have a similar product with the same wallop as the uncoated Urea you were so delighted with.

Note my friend that Grass pushed to those limits for a long period of time gets quite wasted and is vulnerable to Fungus attacks.  Think of what it would be like to go out every night and get raging drunk until you passed out.  How many nights could you do that and not have it affect your health?

Same thing with Turfgrass fertilizer.  Once the Nitrogen evaporates (almost all of it does, you know), the Grass is left in a daze, hungry, tired and alone.

But we like what we like.  Have fun shopping -- no doubt Parker's will be only too happy to give you the name of their nearest retailer, and update you on their 60-0-0 NanoNitrogen Grass Food.  For what it's worth, Lowe's seems to carry this company's products, but if you want the super-duper fertilizer, you should speak to the manufacturer, Chemsico.  Good luck and keep me posted.
