Cherry Tomatoes Not Forming

Question

tomatoes
I have a large potted cherry tomato plant on my patio and it's flowering beautifully, but the flowers just aren't turning into tomatoes.  I'm watering daily and I think it has adequate sun.  Some of the leaves have also started yellowing.  Any idea what could be going on and how I can get more flowers to become tomatoes?

Answer
Hi Amber, from the image you sent me, I am thinking it isn't getting enough Sun, but Tomatoes should still form, and I think they will eventually. Be patient and keep it well watered, but low fertilizer, especially Nitrogen, for this will promote greenery at the expense of flowering. Tomatoes are self pollinating, so if there are flowers, there will eventually be Tomatoes. Move it out to where it gets at least 6 hours of direct Sunlight, and again, keep the soil damp, don't let it dry out or you will stress the plant, and this will make matters worse. Nick
