Angel Wing Begonia – Identification

Q: This begonia grows to four feet high by the end of the summer. I then overwinter it in my garage under grow lights. It dies back tremendously, but always returns in the spring when I put it on my porch. I want to find the secret to keeping it in bloom–it is really a showstopper when the flowers are there!

A: It’s one of the cane-type (angel wing) begonias. There are zillions of them so I’m not able to give you a variety name.
