Join Squires Garden Center in-house plant expert James at Stanmore for an Alpine Trough planting workshop on the 27th July at 10am or 2pm.
Each workshop costs just 9.99 per person and includes all tuition, equipment and material necessary to make a beautiful Alpine Trough to take home. Garden Supplies You will also receive a voucher for a free tea or coffee and slice of home made cake to enjoy in our cafe following the workshop. Booking is essential for this event and can be made at the information desk.
Squires Garden Center offer garden furniture and garden Supplies but in addition they also offer classes in pottery, Pick your piece of pottery from their huge range of bisques.
Each piece is individually priced ranging from 3.50 up to 50.00, plus a studio fee covering equipment, paints, glaze & firing.
There are always staff are always on hand to offer hints and tips and answer any questions.
Once painted, your unique design will be glazed and fired, ready for you to collect in 7 days.
Squires advise you to book in advance, especially if you are a large group and during the school holidays.
Capture your child’s hands or feet in clay to remind you exactly how small they once were! Squires experienced staff will imprint your hand or foot into soft clay, allowing all the wrinkles and creases to be preserved forever.
The clay will then be allowed to dry for up to two weeks, before being fired. Then the imprint will be hand painted in your chosen colour before being glazed and re-fired.
Your imprint can be left as a plaque, strung with ribbon or placed into a handmade frame. Prices start at 20. Bookings are essential.
Great fun! Paint your child’s hand or foot and leave a wonderful print on your chosen piece of pottery!
Choose tiles, mugs, plates, trinket boxes, door plaques or vases for your print, and use special writing pens and tools to decorate you items with. The possibilities are endless!

Squires Garden Centres selling Garden Furniture, Garden Supplies for Gardening have teamed up with Surrey Wildlife to deliver a fascinating talk, with a practical demonstration, on how to care for birds during the winter months. Each session will cover a range of topics such as how to attract birds using planting methods and providing food, water and shelter for birds.
The sessions cost just 3.50 per person and includes a 5 voucher to spend on any 12.75kg of bird seed on the day, plus a free filter coffee or tea to enjoy in our Season’s Restaurant.
