Bird Seed is in – both bagged and bulk!

We are selling organic black oil sunflower seeds by the pound.  These are a favorite of many birds, especially cardinals.   In addition, we carry a selection of bagged seed for feeding the birds and an assortment of feeders and houses for bird-loving gardeners, too.

As winter approaches, your garden can continue to be a haven for the many beautiful birds that stay all winter in Western New York.  As your perennials fade, many will hold their seed heads well into winter.  Finches, chickadees, cardinals and other birds will love to feast on the seeds.

Shrubs provide much needed shelter for birds and other wildlife, and many shrubs produce berries that birds love to eat.  Urban Roots still has a few shrubs in stock that are berry producers, including:
