Fall is a great time for planting!  Give plants enough time to establish, and take advantage of the cooling nights and moist soil to decrease the stress on the newly planted , and you start next spring’s garden off on a good footing.  (Don’t forget: all new plantings need attention to water needs for the first year or two.)
