I live in Bendigo, Victoria, Australia and have been given 2 Donkey Orchids and do not know where to plant them or anything about them any advise is appreciated

You can find informatiom about this orchid at www.myorchids.de/diuris1.htm. Note particularly that the plants are summer dormant and should be rested at that time.  You may grow them in pots using the recommended potting mix and growing conditions in this article.  Otherwise, make sure the soil is well drained with a slightly acid pH and water and feed only when the plants are in active growth.
