POND CLEANING

Question
I just moved to a home that has an outdoor pond--it is about 150 gallons and is rubber lined. It is fed by water from a higher area of the yard (no pumps or filters) -- the water level stays correct but it is not very clear--should I clean it and if so how do I do this ?  THANK YOU

Answer
Hello Lynn!
I am sorry to say that ponds fed by run-off will never be clear. Too much debris, fertilizer, etc washes into them.
Your best bet is to use it strictly as a water garden for plants (Water Lilies and Lotus will do great there and give you a spectacular summer show!!
