I recently purchased a white rose that I will soon be planting here in Illinois.  What is your opinion in growing same in a container?  Also, what is your feeling on using coffee grounds around roses?  Thank you so much for your time!

Mary,  containter grown roses are stunning!  I even mulch the base and add an annual (verbena,portacula,etc.) at their feet!
   "Organics" are a big thing for roses now.........i am finding more and more people wanting to stay natural.  I have used coffee grounds around "weak" azaleas to increase the acidity, but have never tried it on roses.
