Question
I have new rose bushes which bloomed nicely the first time but now have shot of very long runners and a few tiny blooms....what can I do or what have I done wrong???

The tall canes could just new new growth. If the flowers are the same then I wouldn't worry. However if the flowers are single and a different colour, then the understock could have grown from below the graft. Can you get back to me and tell me what the new flowers are like such as colour and whether or not they are single ones and only have 5 petals. Thanks.
