Dying honeysuckle

Question
I bought a honeysuckle plant that grew perfectly fine until I moved the pot to another location about a month ago. The plant started to wilt and the leaves turned yellow. Its new location has lesser direct sunlight. Do you think that has anything to do with it? It's planted in a very large pot. Is it okay for honeysuckles to be left in a pot? I live in Arcadia, California.

Answer
Hi Kissette,
I think more than anything your honeysuckle resents being left in a pot and it is becoming rootbound however, honeysuckles do prefer direct sunlight and lots of it although they will grow in shade, they do not bloom a lot in the shade.  I would move the plant to a sunny location and take it out of the pot.  I hope this helps.
Tom
