Question
I have a pyracantha tree and it is attracting lots of birds daily.  They are making my tree very filthy, what should I do  to keep the tree clean.  I enjoy seeing the birds, but I am very concern for my tree.

Hi Marlene,
Thanx for your question.  There's not much you can do to keep birds out of your tree.  I doubt that they're going to do much harm to it.  What you can do is set up some feeders with seed in it which could draw the birds away from the tree and get them to concentrate on a new food source.  Hose the tree down with water if it gets too laden with bird droppings.  I hope this helps.
