liatris perennial

Question
hello.
i have looked up how to propagate liatris and it says divide the bulb in the spring or save seed.  it never says however where the seeds are.  i know what marigold seed looks like and how to get them.  are liatris seed just like them and i wait for the flower to die and pull out the individual  blossoms?  thank you for your help.

Answer
Hi Mary,
Thanx for your question.  After the liatris has bloomed and the blossoms have dried up, here is what the seed package looks like.

If you strip this dried material off the stalk and onto a white paper plate.  You will find the seeds.

I hope this helps.
