kieki...

Question
I have a kieki (spelled correctly?). And I was slightly confused by a response where Jim left me wondering whether to separate the the baby orchid before it grew roots and lay it on new soil in a pot or simply let it grew roots on the mother (where it doesn't need to) and egg it on with Vitamin B plant solution. Any clarification?
Thank you for being a resource!
Cheers

Answer
Hi Jamie,

Oops!  I must have forgotten to tell you to leave it on the mother plant until it has 2 or more roots over 2 inches long.  Be patient as it can take from 2 to 6 months and longer for roots to appear.

I'll have to remember to include this step in future answers.
