gift plant...

Question
i have received a plant from my family member, and i have no idea what it is.  I will give you my best description, and hopefully you can point me to at least the right "family" of plant.
It is a long vine/hanging plant, with very thick leaves that are pretty broad, somewhat succalent like, and it blooms in a cluster of little white flowers that have about five petels each.  The cluster of flowers is about the size of the palm of my hand.  it seems to like as much light as possible, and warmth.  can you help me figure out what it is, so i know how to take care of it?
thanks, amanda

Answer
Hi Amanda,

I suspect that you may a plant called a wax plant, also known botanically as Hoya carnosa.

If this is what you have, let me know and I will provide care instructions. If this is not what you have, e-mail a photo to me (address below) or describe to me how yours differs from the wax plant.

Please let me know if any of this is unclear or if you have any additional questions.
