Water for Plants

Question
What is the most drinking water Plant or flower or so..?

I'll tell you why but don't laugh.. I have a water leak on my back yard and it's under ground and it's making a small lake there so I was thinking about something to dry that place up and at the same time to put something nice there..

(Don't tell me to fix it cuz it's hard and costly and will bring me other problems..)

By the way we have a very hot weather and a huge humidity..

Thanks..

Answer
Kly,

Weeping willow trees love water and will use a lot but their roots can clog drain pipes. Cattails grow by themselves frequently in wet areas. For flowers you can use astilbe, daisys, buttercups, bee balm, lungwort, bleeding heart, and siberian iris. You might consider tuning it into a small pond. The sites below have more ideas. Good luck.
