Watering a China doll plant

Question
How often do you water the china doll plant?

Answer
Hi Tammy,

Each plant is unique and its water requirement depends on many factors - light, temperature, humidity, pot size, and soil quality. I know that makes it sound very complicated, but it's not.

Check the soil of your China doll every day by sticking your finger down into it about a half inch. When that top half inch of soil feels dry, then water your China doll thoroughly. Do not water it again until that top half-inch of soil feels dry. After a few waterings you will notice that it usually takes about the same number of days to dry out. Then you will know how often to water YOUR China doll.

I have written an article on watering indoor plants that I will email to anyone who sends a request to me at my address below.

Please let me know if any of this is unclear or if you have any additional questions.
