I would like help in all areas of care and growing of my Rubber tree plant.
-----Answer-----
Hi Hank,

Rubber plants like lots of bright indirect light and some direct sun is also good. Place it right in front of a north or east window that is uncovered throughout the day.

Water it thoroughly and then wait until the soil is dry about one-quarter of the way down into the soil before watering again.

Keep it in a small pot until it is very potbound. Use a soil mix that has lots of peat moss and perlite. Use a dilute fertilizer occasionally. It will adapt to high or low humidity.

Answer
Hi Hank,

Thanks for the top rating and nomination!

Pruning is as much art as it is science. The science part of it is as follows:

Any stem can be pruned at any point - typically just above where a leaf connects to the stem. New growth will then usually emerge just below the point of the cut and grow up from there. Understanding this will help you control future  growth. After that, it is question of just how you want the plant to look in the future. Practice and experience help a lot in proper pruning.
