big bright yellow mushrooms!!!!!!!!!


Question
I dont know how it started but all of a sudden I have these
bright yellow mushroooms growing in two of my house plants
and also today I noticed them in another very large plant
that I have had for 20 years in my entry way? how do I get rid of them are they poisionous, or can I just pull them out is there a spray for this problem?

This last one 'typically found on the soil of potted indoor plants' is Leucocoprinus birnbaumii, also photographed here:

Please review and get back to me.  If it is not here, we will have to continue searching.

Remove them to keep them from setting spores.  The spores travel in the air and get into nooks and crannies you didn't know you had.  You probably have some in your lungs and nose right now.  The Mushroom itself won't hurt unless you eat it, which is never a good idea with a Mushroom -- and young children may not ask first before taking a quick bite.
