Sickly jasmine plant

Question
I have a jasmine shrub that is loosing all of its leaves and is very spindly. Should I trim it back now that the weather is getting cooler and it is time to bring it in for the winter?

Answer
Tara,

Yes, I would cut it back and keep it in a very sunny location indoors in hopes it sprouts out again soon. Be very careful not to overwater it while it is indoors and in this sickly condition. It will need less water. It may have lost it's leaves because of overwatering or because of being too cold outside. Either way prune it and keep it sunny and warm but not too wet and be patient. Good luck.
