QuestionI had this plant for a month and the leaves got brown spot and also on the end of the leaves, I know its not overwatered because there's a good holes underneath the pot fro drainage, help
AnswerJosephine,
It is not overwatered if you empty the drain tray after watering. If you allow it to sit in a tray full of water for 2-3 days it could still be overwatered even though it has good holes under the pot for drainage.
The brown spots could also be from sunburn. This plant needs bright light near an east or west window but it cannot have the sun actually shining on it. In Hawaii where they come from they always grow under the palm trees where it is bright but not sunny.
So be sure to empty the drain tray and keep it out of the sun. Good luck.
