Frozen Peace Lily

Question
I know its winter time but i decided to take out my mothers peace lily outside for some fresh air and sunlight since it was surprisingly sunny the other day. I promised to keep it outside only for a little while but i totally forgot and now its frozen, i took it inside the house and after a few minutes it wilted, all the stems and leaves are wilted. what do i do to revive it? please help. thanks a lot in advance. by the way, i think its been about 10- 15 hours outside.

Answer
Anais,

Peace lilies do not like the sun. They get sunburned easily. In 10-15 hours the roots would be totally frozen and most likely killed. I believe that the only way you will revive it is to go to a garden center and buy your mother a new peace lily for Christmas. Then set it close to an east or north facing window and it will be quite happy indoors year around. I hope you find a nice one for your mother. I am sure that one that has been frozen for 15 hours is beyond help. Good luck.
