fungus on elephant ear plant

Question
I have a fungus on my elephant ear plant , and I need to know how to get rid of the fungus. seem everyday it is spreading to the whole plant

Answer
Hi Audrey,
You can use a commercial anti-fungal spray (like Consan 20) or you can spray the affected areas with Lysol (a generic or store brand of Lysol spray is fine). Lysol works great in getting rid of mold/ fungus and it wont hurt most plants. There are a number of plants that are called 'Elephant Ear' plants. The 2 plants that are most commonly called 'Elephant Ear' plants are Alocasia and Caladium. Lysol is safe for both of these plants (and also most other plants that are often called 'Elephant Ears').
Spray the plant with the Lysol about every other day until the fungus is gone and doesn't come back.

I hope this helps. If you have any questions or need additional information please don't hesitate to ask.
     Thanks
       Tracy
