Question
How far is far enough to plant Rue and Basil without having a problem. I know they do not like each other, but I can not find information with a measurement of a safe distance.

True about distance between them. The bees & butterflies will go to any flower. So they will cross the basil pollen with the rue. I would do 30 or more feet between them. Keep your flowers cut fom the basil. No flowers, no pollinating. Basil need the flowers cut to keep producing new leaf growth.
