Question
Recently my aunt gave me a white top pitcher for my birthday, you can definetly tell it has been growing inside. The pitchers are crooked, but it is in good shape. The new pitchers are not crooked actually, dispite the poor growing conditions. Also the soil is a gravel mixture. Should i repot it? What are the steps needed to nurse my plant back to health?

Answer
Hi Robert,

Yes, repot it.  Hard to say what the soil mix is.  Use a 50/50 mix of peat moss to perlite.  Repot it in a pot that gives it room to grow.  Once you've done that find a location outside partially shaded and place the plant there for about 3 days.  Then move it to full sun.  Cut off any leaves that burn.  With a little TLC and luck you should see the plant produce nice fall pitchers.  For more information on growing White trumpets (Sarracenia leucophylla) visit:  http://www.cobraplant.com/caresheets
