Question
I recently questioned you about a mini greenhouse I purchased

To follow up on some questions you asked me:
--The temperatures in this mini greenhouse have been staying the same for the summer (daytime temps are relatively in the 80s to low 90 with nighttimes temps dropping into 70s, upper 60s.
--Daytime humidity - 50-70
 Nighttime humidity - 70-90

I live in the Northeast- Ny - far eastern NY, pretty much on the water - Long Island to be exact - zip 11710- check out the location

The set-up will be moving inside for the winter as I dont think temp drops (nighttime) down to the 30-40s will be ok.

Any more advice will be ok. I am starting to think that a permanent indoor location for these plants/mini greenhouse might end up being ideal and might be used after I come out of winter with these plants spending time indoors. thanks again

Hi Greg,

Indoors this will be a manageable situation.  I recommend placing the greenhouse in a North facing window.  This will give good ambient light, but no direct sun.  The supplement the greehouse with two compact fluorescent fixtures from either side.  Place them about 4 inches from the plastic, and try to position them so the plants get the best exposure.  You'll need to put them on a timer for a 12-14 hour day.  Find CF bulbs that are no less than 150 watt equivalent.  Here's an example of a good one to use:  http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=218512-75774-01780...  Once set up, leave your greenhouse partially open.  You want to increase the humidity some, but need ventilation also.  Your plants don't necessarily need this greenhouse, but the elevated humidity will help the to grow a bit faster.

I've included a photo of a Nepenthes sanguinea growing in my bedroom window.

Good Growing!
