D. Scorpiodes Gemmae

Question
I recently looked more closely at my Scorpiodes and saw that some of the Gemmae decided to start growing while still on the crown of the mother plant. What should i do about these and the other gemmae still on the mother plant. Thanks

Answer
Hi Preston,

You should knock off the gemmae and sow them on the appropriate soil mix.  You might lose a few of the ones that are already germinating, but that's par for the course.  The main thing is to get them off of the mother plant so the mother plant can produce a new set of leaves.

Good growing!
