Hey Jeff,

I was wondering what brand of "bug killing strip" you said to put in the aquarium with plants that have the red spider mites?  I also wanted to make sure that you said the "pirate bug" was a good predatory bug to get, and where do you recommend to get them?

Hi Erric,

Here's a couple links:  Pest Strip:  http://www.amazon.com/Hot-Shot-5580-Unscented-Repellent/dp/B0019BK8AG  This is the type you're looking for.  Brand doesn't matter too much since they are all pretty similar.  The active ingredient is Dichlorvos.

Predatory Bugs:  http://naturescontrol.com/  These guys also have great information on their website, and they are an Oregon company.  Look at their information on spider mite control.
