hi   Hello, I am inquiring about my drosera spatulata's  growth point. It appears to be brown. Any reason for it?

Hi Eric,

Drosera spatulata and many other sundews have this fine mesh of dark hairs that cover the growing leaves in the crown of the plant.  That's the dark appearance you see.  Some plants the hairs are almost black like in Drosera aliciae, other white such as in D. filiformis species.  This is all perfectly normal.  Your plant looks great.
