No Blooms

Question
I have been sucessfully growing Hibiscus (in pots, bringing them indoors in the winter)for about 5 yrs now.  We recently moved from AL to GA, which has just about the same weather & climate.  Ever since our move, all my hibiscus but 1, have stopped blooming.  I thought it was just shock at 1st but it's been 4 months now.  I have fed them, moved them to different sides of the house to see which they liked best...but still no flowers.  Any ideas?

Answer
Hi Peg,

First of all let me thank you for using this service. Mynswer is totally free to you and is only to the best of my ability and my experience, as you have likely read about. Here goes:

Go light on any future pruning. Feed the plants during the spring and early summer growing seasons with 0-10-10. One of the brands you will find in the garden centers is 'Alaska Mor' Bloom. Feed monthly March through July, following label instructions.

That is my suggestion, hopefully follow it and things will improve.

I hope this answers all your questions and feel free to ask me again. Please consider thefollowing if you would like to help me out.

My wife is selling Avery Type labels that will allow you to stick onto packages and record the data of seeds that you may be sending to somebody or that you may be taking from a garden, even your own. The label allows for data like Name, Sun, Type (Perennial, Annual, etc), Planting Depth, Seed  Year and where you got them. We are selling them for $4.00 Canadian or $3.00 American for 60 labels. Shipping is included. Provincial Tax only if you live in Ontario. Great for you or for a gift to another gardener.

Good luck, Brian. Please remember to rate my answer.
