Bradford tree

Question

Leaf picture
I have a fairly young Bradford pear tree.  I have noticed that all of the leaves
have turned black in the middle of the leaf.  It doesn't look like blight, but I'm
not sure.  Can you tell me what needs to be done?

Answer
It is not blight.  If you recently planted the tree, I would say that it sounds like transplant shock.  It is definitely something environmental.  I would suggest doing nothing at this time of the year.  See how the tree moves into the fall and winter season.  The leaves should come out OK next spring.
