Silver oak bark disease

Question
Respected Sir
I have a 3 year old silver oak tree in my lawn. due to termite attack on some of its bark, the bark gone dry. leaves on that side of bark have gone yellowish. overall health of the tree has deteriorated. a smelly raisin is being discharged from the bark. and its all cracked up. can u please advise something to be done coz i really love my silver oak.

Answer
Simar:

From your description, there may be some level of internal decay. Unfortunately, there is not a magic bullet to solve this situation other than prevention. Good nutrition and appropriate soil moisture may extend the life of the tree, but I suspect that the situation may be terminal.
