Question
Hi I have a mad. palm (~14inches) which seems to hate sunlight.  Despite all blogs online where everyone says they should be drowned in sun, I live in PA (~70degrees now) and the new leaves start to crinkle up and die before they can mature after only hours in the sun.  Inside it does slightly better. I only water it once a week as suggested.  What could be the problem?

Hi Mark, I have a feeling you are watering too much.  Make sure if you have a drain basin underneath the pot must be drained in 15 minutes or your palm will rot.  I sometimes do not water my palm for weeks and I live in Florida and its in the 80's now.  kathy
