Question
I recently noticed spot on the leaves of my purple leaf plum. The spots look as if the leaf is losing its pigmentation almost a tan color.  I also noticed this morning the spots are on more leaves. Is this some type of fungus, I did not see an insect. What can i do to save my tree?

Hi Gina:
Can you send me a photo of a leaf with this spot on it?  Try to get as close as you can to take the shot and be sure to review the image on your computer first- to be sure it is in focus before sending. I expect that this spot may not have a significant impact on the health, but it would be best to try to get an ID first. How big in diameter are these spots?
