Question
I am looking at a 12  skinny inch white worm or snake dangling from my birch tree seems to like the light of the sensor lights
What it is and how do I control them as I have not spotted two.
I am in North Vancouver BC Canada on a 50 degree evening.

I would need to have a photo of this animal to give you an idea.  I am assuming you meant it was 12 inches long.  At that size, I do suspect an insect, but perhaps a small snake.

If you could send a photo, this may help in the ID.
