Bugs   Would you please tell me what type of bug these are and how to remove them from my garden.  They are attacking my eggplant.

I can't see these clearly enough to be certain but they look like Colorado potato beetles, which also feed on eggplant. Probably the best option is to treat with spinosad insecticide, see http://www.livingwithbugs.com/spinosad.html, which is both very effective and relatively low toxicity. If the garden is relatively small you can also try just handpicking them off.
