Blueberry Bush

Question
Frank & Vicky: My neighbor has blueberry bushes that produce lots of tasty fruit each June.  He doesn't spray them with any chemicals.  I would like to grow my own blueberries.  Is it possible to propagate them?  If not, can you recommend a place where I could buy a good quality blueberry bush?  How long does it take before it will produce any fruit?  Thanks for your help.  Gail

Answer
I don't know where you are located, but I think that you can get good quality plants from Johnny's seeds.  They produce the first season, if they have a rich balanced soil that is about 4.5 acidic.  They also like a little shade. There are also a lot of other places to buy them at:

Propagation information can be found at:

Good luck!
