Answer
Hi Donna;
The lime green indicates your lawn is defecient in a nutrient, most usually iron.
You can get chelated iron at the nursery. I like the granulated best, as when the liquid is diluted and sprayed on, it can turn the blades it touches almost black. there is no harm done, unless you have mixed it too strong, but it looks like an awful grass disease.
that isn't a fungus turning it lime green, so of course a fungicide wouldn't help.
It would not be bugs either, it is nutrients.
I would get a good organic fertilizer, and apply that, and apply the sugar with it too, for the microbes.
What is your watering program?
Do you water deeply and about once a week, or a couple inches every few days?
Go to Calloways if you have one in your area, and get some good organic lawn food, one that has iron for sure.
Calloways is a wonder, if you are not familiar with them.
I have never had a question they couldn't answer.
Their plants are a little more, but they have twice the guarantee any other nursery has too. They are worth the extra money.
While you are at Calloways, pick up one of howard Garrett's books on organic gardening in texas. GREAT!
Charlotte
