Hi,
I read your post about sugaring your lawn to keep down weeds and also lava sand, alfalfa meal, and corn gluten meal. Can you recommend a place to purchase these items in bulk?

Hi Stella;
I found a feed store in the little town next to us, and I get the alfalfa meal there.
I buy lava sand at one nursery that handles a lot of organics, and I think my husband got some at walmart.
If you can't find them, it is no big deal.
Another good organic fertilizer is Gluten Corn Meal.
Some have written me that it is hard to find in their area.
for the first 8 or nine years, all I used was sugar. My lawn was doing great on that, and the weeds were no more.
So if you can't get those things, don't worry about it.
