Question
I noticed this morning about 20 small spider webs in our front yard.  I checked it out when I got home from work this evening and I see no bugs or spiders.  This is really weird because we have had lots of spiders and webs hanging from trees, cars and such.  But these are just laying in the front yard. They are about the size of a fifty cent piece.  Any idea what they could be?

Well, it sounds like spider webs.  There are many types of spiders and some do reside in your lawn.  Since spiders tend to be far more helpful than harmful, I wouldn't recommend doing anything other than just letting things be.
